We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with excellent communication and management skills to perform a range of duties that will help grow our organisation in an Administrative Executive role.
APHA is run by a board of directors, supported by local representatives and committee members in five states and the ACT. These positions at present are voluntary, and as such available time commitments vary greatly. As our organisation expands, there is a growing need for administrative tasks to be carried out in a timely fashion without overwhelming the volunteer board and committee members. The Administrative Executive Role is currently the only paid position available at APHA, and the board rely heavily on this role to address day-to-day issues, use your own judgement to both take action but also seek guidance when required, to maintain regular and clear communication with relevant board members, and stay across the full range activities being carried out by APHA, either through the board, its working groups, or the local chapters.
The role is offered as a part time (4 days per week) of full time position, with flexible hours – suitable for an experienced person, such as a parent looking to get back into the workforce.
Remuneration to be negotiated commensurate with your experience and the skills you bring to the organisation.
