Robert de Boni Architect
Robert has lived & worked on the east and west coasts of Australia, as well as Europe (England & Italy) and Asia (Singapore, Vietnam and Japan). Living in all these places has made Robert very sensitive to cultural, site and environmental factors.
Projects have ranged from small alterations, through to individual residences, apartment developments, offices, industrial buildings, modular fabrication, cinemas & educational buildings. The wide range of designs informs one another, maximising opportunities and leading to the best outcome for the specifics of each individual site.
Robert has a particular interest in multi-generational housing, loose-fit buildings where usage can change over time, sustainability using first principles & 3D computing & physical modelling techniques for compositional design studies.
He collaborates with a variety of people including Michelle Hon-Pearson, who also studied at Curtin, as well as his cousin Sara de Boni who is an architect trained in Florence & based in Italy.
