Sick, leaking, mould, condensation, draught, hot, cold, pollution, noise, high energy costs, climate change. These are all words that are synonymous with the way we live in Australia and the homes and buildings we live in. Do you want to know how to make this change? We all have a role to play.
Healthy, comfortable, low energy, clean air, low allergen, low costs, reduced carbon foot print, carbon neutral, off grid, net zero. These are all words that are synonymous with Passive House and the type of buildings we all want to live in.
Come on a journey with us as we present to you the Passive House Standard. Not only is it a building standard, it is the way of the future. A place where all your questions will be answered, like “can I open a window in a passive house?” and “passive house is passive solar design, right?” All the misconceptions around Passive House will be set right.
We will showcase some of the residential Certified Passive Houses in Australia, as well as some of the upcoming projects around Australia.
Let us show you how easy it is to incorporate it into the current Australian Building practice. Through talks and demonstrations, you will come away with a new found understanding of the future of building in Australia, and just how easy it is to have a comfortable, healthy living environment.
