Following on from the First Passive House Asia Conference, Qingdao 2016, the Second Passive House Asia Conference will be held in Tokyo this year.
This year’s theme is “Passive House and humid summer”.
Dr. Jürgen Schnieders, a summer specialist studying the programming of calculations for the cooling and dehumidifying equipment at Passive House Institute, has been invited and will give the keynote speech on the theme of “Summer in Passive Houses.” There will also be lectures from our Asian neighbours, talks about passive house initiatives in various countries, and a panel discussion.
The conference will search for answers to the question of ideal passive houses in the hot and humid Asian region, and Passive House Japan (PHJ) will start to enter into dialogue with low-energy experts from across Asia with the common keyword of “passive houses.”
The second Passive House Asia Conference will be held between 24-26 August 2017 at the Ito Hall at the Ito International Research Center within The University of Tokyo.
