Kate Nason on Talking Architecture & Design

The building industry accounts for almost 40% of all global carbon emissions worldwide. The buildings we design today will still be operational by 2050. Reaching net zero will require huge changes to our houses, offices, and schools and the way we live in them.

APHA Chair and Sustainability Advisor at Frasers Property Australia, Kate Nason, has been interviewed by Talking Architecture & Design on their latest podcast.

Kate is a Certified Passive House Designer, and Green Star Accredited Professional. With a background as an architect (ARBV) she has worked across multiple low-energy buildings including Certified Passive House projects such as the Monash Gillies Hall and several single residential homes utilising low carbon prefabricated construction systems.

In this interview, Kate explains how airflow and good design all contribute to a healthy home.
